Come to STEM Night & Science Fair Friday Evening!

Please join us Friday, March 10th at 6 pm for a night of amazing demonstrations, fun games, and hands on science, engineering, and math!  Our favorite activities like the Scavenger Hunt, and Big Dice Bingo will be joined by exciting new activities, including paper engineering, acoustics and sound, pinhole camera, Win a Pi(e)! and many more.

To help make this a successful night of science and math, we need your help to fill in the remaining volunteer slots for the event.  We’ve got a terrific line up of new and classic activities that need your participation.   Visit Brackett STEM Night 2017 to sign up.  Thanks in advance for your time and effort!

The Rock Wall is Up! Check It Out!

rock wall 4

We are so excited to announce that the rock wall was installed yesterday! What began as an idea of physical education teacher Guy Schiavone becomes a reality this week as our students test out the new climbing wall.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the online auction, the celtics tickets raffle and the ongoing annual appeal. Our fundraising efforts paid off!

In addition, we want to send our sincere thanks to the Arlington Education Foundation for their generous grant that enabled this to happen. As well, we are so appreciative of our friends at BASP who made a substantial donation too!

We are thrilled to expand the physical education program offered at Brackett. We hope you'll drop by the gym and see it for yourself.
