PTO Update October 22, 2015

A big thanks to the 35 parents who attended last nights PTO meeting, the Brackett PTO was thrilled with the turnout and fresh ideas and suggestions you all brought.  We have had a wonderful response to the sign up genius for open positions, and we hope that more people might be able to sign up and attend future meetings.

New School-Wide Compost Delivery Program!

Brackett is a pioneer in waste reduction practices and has inspired other schools in Arlington and the surrounding communities to engage in similar efforts.

Please read the letter below from Brackett principal, Mrs. Zerchykov, about the details of our lunch room waste reduction program. Part of the program is to deliver compost buckets and trays to Whole Foods Arlington. We need help from Brackett Families to keep this program going.

We're asking each classroom to be responsible for 1-2 weeks throughout the year to deliver our compost buckets and trays to Whole Foods. Details are included in the sign up link below.
