Brackett Annual Appeal Campaign 2015-2016 - Contribute Now!

Brackett Annual Appeal Campaign 2015-2016 is Here!

Happy holidays! As we approach the end of the year, we ask you to please consider making a tax-deductible family contribution to the Brackett PTO to help cover the enrichment provided for your children.

Working in partnership with the Brackett School, the Brackett PTO provides opportunities for students, teachers, and parents that would not otherwise be available.

Annual donation is tax-deductible. To make a gift click “Donate” OR make a check payable to Brackett School PTO and return the check with the form attached here and check in your child’s folder or drop your donation off in the main office in the envelope marked “Annual Appeal”.

Thank you so much for your contribution!

—The Brackett PTO relies 100% on parental volunteers—

1.  Cultural Enrichment: support school assemblies and grade specific performances which enhance the curriculum; i.e.. author visits, musicians, artists, etc.

2. Science and Math Enrichment: support in school math and science programs with hands on activities. Also sponsor science fair, math night, and star and bottle rocket nights at Robbins Farm.

$242 raised for Brackett PTO at Henry Bear's Park

A big thank you to the many elves that helped wrap on Saturday, Dec. 5th at the Arlington Henry Bear's Park!  We raised $242 and Henry Bear's matched that amount with a $242 gift card to raffle off at the June fair.  Thanks to those who wrapped, shopped, promoted the event and supported all the efforts!

The Brackett Book Fair - Monday, 11/16 to Friday 11/20 - Volunteer and shop!

BooksThe Book Fair begins this coming Monday, Nov. 16th and runs through Friday, Nov. 20th with a FAMILY SHOPPING NIGHT on Thurs., Nov. 19 from 5:30-8pm.  For those of you unfamiliar with the Book Fair, Brackett partners with Book Ends bookstore in Winchester and we turn the Brackett Library into a book store for a whole week!
Parents: please give your child(ren) money to take with them to their regular library time at school.  Kids can buy books, bookmarks, pencils, puzzles, games and other items during their visit to the Book Fair (their normal library time).  We also have a wonderful tradition of having families buy books for teachers.  The teachers decide which books they would like for their classroom and we encourage children and parents to purchase books for them as well.  Parents are also welcome to join their children for book fair shopping during library time, but there will also be an opportunity to shop Thursday evening as well.
