The Read-a-Thon is HERE!

crickett readingBrackett's Read-a-thon is live! Here are a few helpful hints to get started:

1. Each child needs to set up their own on-line reading log with a "secret code". This information went home in the Read-a-thon packets last week. If your packet has been misplaced, please email brackettreadathon@gmail.com with your child's name and we can retrieve the codes for you.

2. If you are asking friends/family to sponsor your child's reading, you can send emails to those individuals directly from your child's Read-a-thon page OR by sending this link https://www.read-a-thon.com/school/Brackett-PTO_19528 and asking sponsors to search for your child's name.

3. You can log in to the read-a-thon page by clicking HERE.

Thanks again for your support! Now let's get reading!

Attention Current 5th Grade Families: After-School Program at Gibbs/6th Grade

Dear Incoming 6th Grade Parents and Guardians,

As you start to think ahead to next year and your incoming middle schooler’s schedule, this is the perfect time to consider the Arlington After-School Program at Gibbs (AASP Gibbs).

Our thriving program runs starting right after school until 6:00pm with the option for your child to walk home or leave at any point up until6:00pm. There is also a ½ day option which includes the homework time and ends at 4:30. The framework of our program mirrors that of our sister program at Ottoson, and is similar to the programs at Thompson and Hardy. As an active part of the Gibbs community, we are very excited to continue our partnership with the incoming principal Mrs. DeFrancisco. We will work with the teachers and staff to provide a consistent environment for our students.

Movie Night is CANCELED!

Due to the inclement weather, tonight's movie night is canceled. Please stay tuned for a rain date (no pun intended!)
