Informal summary from the November 13, 2015 PTO meeting (from Julie Hall):

Good Morning,

A big thank you to all of you for being part of our Brackett PTO for the 2015-2016 school year!  All of you together are what make our PTO so strong and vibrant——room parents, chairpersons, event volunteers, fundraising volunteers, etc…..YOU ARE ALL PART OF OUR PTO!

We had a great PTO meeting this morning in the cafeteria with 20 parents in attendance.  It was so nice to see familiar and new faces. Thank you to those in attendance and for your patience as Brackett Bank was in full swing—a great way to see volunteers in action with the students!

- Our website has many new articles—keep on the lookout for current news and sign up genius for various events—thank you Jen Prior!

- Safe Routes Coordinator, Sarah Hugenberger, spoke about what her group does and she will be publishing a “safe routes” map soon for walkers. The group goal is to get more children to walk to school/ walking groups are encouraged.

We currently are running without PTO Co-Presidents, however, we really do need to fulfill these positions ASAP.  Please let us know if you have questions about this position or interest by emailing juliehall73@verizon.net. If you enjoy working with people and find community work fulfilling—this is a great role for YOU as we already have committees in place and ready to go!
