Fall is here, and it’s almost time for 5th Grade Science Camp, November 14th - 17th.  Our 5th Graders will travel to the W. Alton Jones Environmental Education Center at the University of Rhode Island for fun, hands-on science learning.  This trip is always a highlight of 5th Grade for many students.

We are in need of MANY parent chaperones  - both male and female. Chaperones receive free lodging and meals, and will spend the evening and overnight with the students. Chaperones are free to join in on the camp activities during the day or spend that time as they wish.  Wi-Fi is available at the camp for parents who need to work remotely or catch up on news, read etc. Parents may volunteer one or multiple nights.
We will try to accommodate all who are interested, but note that we will priority will be given to parents who can stay more than one night to ensure a consistent camp experience.  Please note that parents cannot stay in the same cabin as their child.

To sign up, please contact us or your child’s teacher with your available days and contact information. We will be holding an informational night later in the month for chaperones and parents.
Please let us if you have any questions or are interested in volunteering to chaperone.
Thanks,
Atwood Cheung
